Website

The site saves your language and appearance choices in your browser's local storage. It does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Cloudflare delivers the site and may process connection and security information, such as an IP address, to provide that service.

App content

Snippy stores clipboard history and snippets on your Mac. Supported field values are stored locally by default; you can choose Keychain storage for them. If you enable iCloud sync, selected app data is synchronized through your Apple account. Local Apple Intelligence and Vision features process content on compatible Macs. The website and license service do not receive your clipboard history or field values.

Licenses and purchases

When you redeem a free code or use a paid license, the license service processes a code or license key to issue and verify access. It stores license status and related transaction or redemption identifiers. Payment checkout, customer billing details, and payment methods are handled by Stripe / Link. We receive transaction and refund events needed to activate or revoke a license; we do not store payment-card details.

When you use an eligible external offer in Snippy Free, the service records Apple's offer tokens, a random installation identifier, the App Store country, and the offer time. The website stores an opaque offer identifier in a first-party cookie for up to seven days after the offer is opened, so returning purchases can be attributed. Required token, purchase and refund reports are sent to Apple. Before opening an external offer, Snippy Free asks Apple's Declared Age Range service whether your shared range is 18 or older. The age range stays in memory on your Mac and is not sent to our server or Stripe. This does not share clipboard content or payment-card details. Clearing cookies or changing browsers removes the browser association.

Purpose and retention

We process license and transaction records to provide purchased access, prevent misuse, handle refunds, and meet applicable record-keeping duties. We retain them for as long as needed for those purposes and legal obligations. Apple reporting records are retained for at least three years after submission to support the contractual audit requirement. Browser language and appearance choices remain on your device until you clear them.

Your choices and rights

You can stop iCloud sync and optional Keychain use in the app. Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, or object to certain processing.
